Dr. Nathan Ingham
Osteopath
Having completed his Bachelor of Clinical Science in 2013, Nate went on to complete his Master’s in Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University in 2015. He ran an osteopathic clinic on Bay Street, Tweed Heads for 8 years before moving to our current location on Boyd Street in 2022.
He was drawn to osteopathy following a chronic back injury in 1999. After exploring various treatment options with limited success, he experienced significant relief under the care of an osteopath. This life-changing osteopathic experience inspired him to pursue a career in osteopathy, aiming to help others alleviate their pain.
Nate uses a patient-centred approach, employing techniques like soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, deep stretching, radial shockwave, dry needling, and craniosacral therapy, tailored to the individual needs of each client. He also focuses on biomechanical correction through exercise, backed by his previous experience in the fitness industry.
Outside the clinic, Nate enjoys surfing, mountain biking and spending time with his wife, Anna, and their two sons, Thomas and Edward.
Dr. Thomas Jungwirth
Osteopath
Tom completed his Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Master of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University in Lismore, NSW.
He developed an interest in osteopathy while rehabilitating his own injuries following a car accident. The holistic approach to healing the whole body and mind persuaded him to pursue a career in osteopathy.
Tom is passionate about helping people maintain active, healthy and happy lives through osteopathy and lives by the same principles he shares with his clients.
Using a patient-centered approach, Tom combines a variety of osteopathic techniques and exercises tailored to each individual.
Outside of practice, Tom enjoys surfing and has a strong interest in live music and the great outdoors.
Tom is available for consultation on Monday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 6:30 pm
Dr. Aaron Segal
Osteopath
Aaron completed his Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Master of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University in Lismore, NSW.
He was introduced to Osteopathy as a child, having observed the many benefits the treatment had on his mother who was undergoing a chronic condition. Following this, Aaron pursued a career as an Osteopath to help individuals experiencing chronic pain get back to feeling their best.
Aaron delivers the most effective service possible to patients with the aim of improving their quality of life. He incorporates a broad range of techniques such as joint manipulation, joint articulation, massage, visceral osteopathy and cranio-sacral therapy, providing the most beneficial treatment to the patient’s condition.
Aaron enjoys the ocean, having grown up in the Gold Coast. When not in the clinic, you can find him in the ocean either fishing, surfing or swimming, or spending time at the local markets.
Dr. Clara Guy
Osteopath
Clara earned her Bachelor’s in Clinical Sciences and Masters in Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University in Gold Coast, QLD.
Clara decided to pursue Osteopathy after recovering from spinal fractures and disc injuries due to a motor vehicle accident, through holistic osteopathic treatment. During her studies, Clara observed and assisted her father, a respected Tweed Osteopath, furthering her desire to be of service to others on their journey to wellness.
Clara has treated a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions and people of diverse ages and backgrounds. She deploys a range of techniques tailored to the individual, including soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation and manipulation, exercise prescription, visceral osteopathy and cranio-sacral therapy. Clara is dedicated to assisting people in reaching their health goals and getting back to being active, whether that be competing in sport or just being able to hang out the washing.
In her spare time, Clara enjoys trips to the beach with her staffy and keeping fit through pilates, yoga, swimming, hiking and rock-climbing. She also loves spending time with friends and family, attending live music and cultural events, reading, and watching films.
Allison Jones
Remedial Massage Therapist
Allison has been part of the Coolangatta-Tweed Osteopathy team for 5 years and brings her enthusiasm every day as the front reception manager.
Her friendly nature and the desire to create positive change in people’s lives through their health and wellbeing led her to fulfill her dream of becoming a massage therapist and received her Diploma in Remedial Massage.
Allison is a master at finding the trigger points and hitting it with accuracy – her eyes are her fingertips. She believes in a holistic approach to a person’s health and wellbeing so she uses a combination of remedial and relaxation techniques during a typical massage treatment, including Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Deep Tissue Massage. She also offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage to assist the client’s lymphatic system and decrease oedema.
Outside the clinic, Allison enjoys going on adventures with her daughter, spending time with her family, heading down to the beach for swims and walks.
Tara
Reception
With years of experience in customer service industry, Tara brings a positive and compassionate energy to the practice. She has a talent for directing patients to the right practitioner for their needs and understands the importance of overall health and well-being, especially as a mother herself.
Outside of the practice, Tara enjoys spending time with her family, staying active with fitness activities, and exploring her passion for interior design. In her free time, she can often be found on road trips with her family, soaking up the sun and water.
